Guidelines on CIC report submission / searching in BSIS

CIC Report Submission

Questionnaire

CIC report form is integrated into the inspection reporting tool. It is available for submission via a list of inspections displayed on the “Ship Data” page.

The following actions are required in order to submit the CIC report to the BSIS:

a. Enter Ships section;

b. Find a ship by IMO No., call sign, or ship name;

c. Enter “Ship’s details” page;

d. Find the list of inspections;

e. Find the list of inspections table;

f. Click “+” symbol in “CIC” column corresponding to the relevant inspection carried out during the CIC period. The CIC report form will open;

g. Fill in the CIC report form in accordance with Data Validation Rules and click “Add” button.

CIC Report Search

This function allows to find the CIC report by date range, authority, port, ship and flag.

The following actions are required in order to find the CIC report:

a. Enter CIC section;

b. Indicate the parameters for search by selecting from options provided. Use drop-down lists, calendars and other ship search parameters;

c. Press “Search” button.
